Shamrock Island

NOTE: Shamrock Island is currently not being monitored by CBI

Shamrock Island is the remainder of a re-curved barrier spit that once extended southwestward from Mustang Island into Corpus Christi Bay. It is an important bird and aquatic resource which was stabilized during a 1999 restoration project. Future restoration planning is currently ongoing.
